| Comments: | My husband Jim and I had a fabulous vacation at the Occidental last week and scuba diving with Maria made the trip an unforgettable experience. She is an amazing person - a superb instructor who was extremely encouraging and patient with us as we completed our 4 certification dives. Maria's background as a biologist and obvious love of the sea also added so much to our experience - she took the time to show us and educate us about some amazing creatures (including coral which were fascinating) that we would have probably overlooked without her guidance. I was nervous after my second dive and had decided not to dive again, but Maria encouraged me and was instrumental in getting me to continue and become certified. On my last 2 dives I didn't want to get out of the water! We will definitely be back again next year, and want to thank everyone at Dive Palancar for the fantastic experience.
